Travel Bug: Flower Power

A recent visit to the Bellevue Botanical Garden with visiting family offered a cheap but glorious way to celebrate the summer and great weather. Lots of stunning flowers were in full bloom and the grounds had plenty of interesting flora to take in (including mohawked groomsmen decked out for wedding photos.)

One things for certain, though, there were plenty of plants that had already bloomed or who’s time had yet to come and I’m planning to check in for each of the seasons to take full advantage of this local, somewhat hidden treasure.

The Bellevue Botanical Garden is open daily so stop by anytime for a look-see.
