What Up, G: So it begins…

Peas planted, originally uploaded by StacieBenton.

It’s been a few years since I’ve toiled in the garden but this year, it seemed fitting to dig in again. With alotta help from two blogging friends, my raised beds got cleaned up and some extra pea starts were shared.

This weekend was some nice weather and planting proceeded with the pea starts and some pickling cucumber seeds. Inside, I’m planning to do some sunflower, carrot, and more cucumber starts with those handy Jiffy peat pellets.

On order from Johnny’s Selected Seeds: sweet red pepper, basil, assorted herbs, bush beans, butter lettuce, and cheddar cauliflower.

Seemed fitting to start posts showing how the garden (G) is doing. But my name ain’t Mary. Quite the contrary!

Thanks to Wasabi Prime and South Sound Garden on the cleanup assist and continued support!
