NFL Week 14 Picks: Thursday Night Not-So-Special

December 10, 2009

So the NFL is back in action….ok, that’s bending things a bit.  It’s Pittsburgh versus Cleveland.  Cleveland, after being throroughly trounced early in the game last week against the Super Chargers, showed some life in the last vestiges of the game.  I don’t foresee that this time.

Pittsburgh needs to convince everyone they deserve a seat at the Playoffs table.

Pittsburgh 34 – 7 over Cleveland.

Wow, I mean, wow! Just got home from Happy Hour and saw the score. Not sure exactly waht has fallen so apart in Pittsburgh but I think the weekly excuse of Troy Palumalu being absent from the defense just isn’t cutting it any more.

And I also guess that last week’s late game efforts by Cleveland against SD weren’t necessarily a sign of SD letting up. Maybe there’s some hope in Cleveland just like there’s finally hope with the QB change in Oakland.

I hate to keep saying it but…I love the parity in the NFL! If only the Saints and Colts would share the lurve :p
